I feel like my daily horoscope is pretty accurate because it
says that I can finally relax. I can relax a little because I finally finished
my pledging process for my fraternity and was able to cross, but now I am
stressed for figuring out the dances that we will have to do for our banquet
tomorrow since we all have to perform. Something that I feel may be falsifiable
in my horoscope is that it says that now that I have my self-confidence back I can
open my heart to someone dear. The thing is I never lost my self confidence in
the first place, if anything the confidence in myself has steadily increased
and it’s still increasing. I also feel like I got rid of the majority of my
problems already and that my worries have gone from large to small instead of
finishing my small problems first in order to deal with the big problems.
I liked reading your post on the topic of horoscopes. I notice that your zodiac sign is Cancer. I am a Cancer as well. After reading the blurb that you got on Friday I thought back to how I felt on Friday. Had I read that for myself on Friday it would have been inaccurate, just as mine was today. However, it is interesting that it was accurate for you on that day. I don’t really believe in horoscopes or the prediction of the future, but I can respect people that do. I also think it is interesting that a daily horoscope would apply to a large group of people that all share the same zodiac sign. How could that be possible? I guess I am skeptical.
ReplyDeleteFirst off I want to say congratulations on crossing your fraternity, I’m sure it was a lot of work and stress in this process. I also agree that not all horoscopes are accurate. I find it to be very vague, but I am glad you’re self confidence is still there! I don’t believe in reading the horoscopes like what Marty said. But I have friends who do, and I don’t try discouraging or disrespecting the fact that they do. I absolutely agree with Marty and I feel the same way as well, I am also very skeptical about the predictions because it is in fact too big of a group to apply it on.
ReplyDeleteThis is nice to hear that your horoscope is pretty accurate to your current situation. It is always nice to get a good horoscope that rings true to your life. I also glad that you pointed out the flaws in the horoscope, saying how you never really lost your self confidence in the first place. I want to warn you that horoscopes can be very misleading and you do not necessarily need to always relate your life to the predictions. Many horoscopes may suggest you do something you may not normally do, or may lead your mind into thinking you are going to have a certain kind of day (Bad, unlucky, scary, and lucky) when in reality, you will not.
